Gripes about NWDS 7.3 usability

First complaint: I don't like having my context view confined to a tab in the properties view. I need this front and center, much more than I need the metadata editor, which I find useless (leading me to next gripe....)

Second complaint: The metadata editor is useless. Check that - the component modeler is useless. At least in the data modeler when you double click a connector you can see the model binding or context mapping. But generally that's not the first thing I am looking for when I open a controller editor, which is....

Third complaint: The implementation should be the default editor when opening the component controller, not the metadata editor. For view controllers, my first stop is the view editor so that works well for me, but even in the view controller...

Fourth complaint: Switching to the implementation editor is annoying. Right click navigation from the explorer requires far too much screen travel to get to the Java editor, and I don't know about you but the toolbar Source attachment action set with the Java button jumps all over the place. Can't we at least have a keyboard shortcut? My efforts at customizing a key combination have been ineffective.

The first complaint is really the major one for me, the other three can be described as, "oh yeah, and another thing...."

I need my context view handy, and no matter how I position that properties tab I can't get a stable place to pin it. It's a square view that does not lend itself to narrow or wide sizing. And have you tried side scrolling the context view? What irrational behavior!

Thanks for listening. I hope this is an appropriate post for this forum, I looked for a complaint topic but didn't immediately find one. Ah, another complaint....
