At my company we have an exit/enhancement in MIRO that creates a batch input in AFAR to calculate depreciation when the PO is for fixed assets. Early in the morning, the standard program RSBDCSUB is ran in background to process all of the AFAR folders created the previous day.
It has come to my attention that when AFAR is run, it creates *another* background job, RAAFAR00. I've noticed that the first session of RAAFAR locks certain objects, like BUKRS. As a result, only a few folders are processed whenever we run RSBDCSUB.
Is this normal? Is there a more eficiente way to process numerous AFAR folders em masse?
