Did you set up email forwarding correctly? In addition to configuring an inbound/outbound email channel within C4C, you need to ensure that all emails sent to that address are forwarded by the mail server to the technical address of the tenant, e.g. cod.servicerequest@myXXXXXX.mail.crm.ondemand.com.
